Hydraulic step screens

SolidwaterOpen brochure

Hydraulic step screens effectively separate solid particles from sewage.
Screenings are lifted step by step to the top of the bars and are then
dropped down to the conveyor or screenings press.

The hooked shape of the steps prevents particles from sliding back down, and the shape of the lower part of the bars prevents particles from collecting. This decreases the need for maintenance and allows the screen to be installed directly to a channel.

The structure of the screen is kept at a low level, thus making installation and maintenance work easy.
To prevent foul odors and spills the screen may be enclosed.

When using a hydraulic screenings press, screen hydraulics can be easily integrated with it.
