Drum thickeners

SolidwaterOpen brochure

The sludge is led to the thickener through an inlet connection. Inside the drum, water is separated from the sludge through a sieve cylinder. The thickened sludge is conveyed by the spiral in side of the drum to the outlet and then deposited into container. Discharge water is led to the water process.

A water jet nozzle arm inside the drum cleans the sieve.

The drum sieve construction is closed, thus making placement easy and preventing foul odors and spills.

The primary materials used in the drum thickener are stainless or acid-proof steel (AISI 304, AISI 316).
