Hydraulic Step Screen effectively separates solid particles from sewage. Screenings are lifted step by step to the top of the bars and are then dropped down to a conveyor or a screening press.
The hooked shape of the steps prevents particles from sliding back down, and the shape of the lower part of the bars prevents particles from collecting under the bars. This decreases the need for maintenance and allows the screen to be installed directly to a channel.
The structure of the screen is low, which makes installation and maintenance work easy. To prevent foul odors and spills the screen can be manufactured as a closed construction.
If required, the screen can be integrated with a hydraulic screening press, in which case it is possible to use a common hydraulic unit.
